So how is your summer going?
Imagine sitting under the warm sunshine of Maldives and drinking a peach soda with ice…that is how I planned my summer holiday this year. Although it turned out to be completely different than what I expected, I decided to create this glossy, summer peachy makeup look for my next island holiday. It is always better to be looking forward to something, isn’t it?
After applying the primer, I always apply some orange-based color lipstick on my dark circles. This is a simple trick to conceal dark circles and moisturize your skin at the same time. You can choose any of your spare orange lipstick for this purpose.

Eye & Brow Makeup
The most important part of this summer peachy look is to have very natural eyebrows, so instead of using eyebrow pencil, I choose to apply some dark eyeshadow and create a blurred, fluffy look for my eyebrows. Make sure to blend the eyebrow around the edge for the fluffy look!
In this tutorial, I used brick red and orange color as the base of the peachy look. Since I also want a shining, glossy feeling on my makeup, I also mixed a little bit of shimmering gold:
Starting with blending the orange eyeshadow all over my eye socket and around my waterline (step 1), I use a tapered brush to apply some brick red eyeshadow around the outer corner of my eye socket to create a deep crease look ( step 2). Don’t forget to also apply it on your waterline, but be sure NOT the whole waterline, only half of it (step 3)!
As usually, I apply some concealer to continue creating a cut crease look (step 4). If you are curious about the details of a cut crease eye makeup , don’t miss my last post about it! After applying the concealer, I top the concealer part with my shimmering, shining gold liquid eyeshadow (step 5). In Step 6, you will notice that my eyeliner looks very natural and smooth. This is because I choose to use dark brown eyeshadow instead of liquid eyeliner in this look, to create a soft natural look to match with my eyebrow.
Here is a Korean makeup trick to enlarge your eyes as well: highlight the bottom part of your eyelid! All you need to do is to contour the part which is just 5mm away from your waterline, and highlight the area above with some gold liquid eyeshadow. Lastly, don’t forget to use your mascara! As I said many times before, I am an absolute false lash fan, so I will be using a pair of soft and natural eyelashes. Voila!

Blush & Lip Makeup:
To have a glossy look, you will of course need a good quality highlighter and blush which goes with your eye makeup color. In this tutorial I am using an orange color based blush and my favourite highlighter as usual!
As for lip color, since it is a hot summer, make sure to avoid very heavy lipstick color, like bright red or bright orange. What I recommend is to apply a very minimum amount of lipstick, just enough to give your lip a peachy orange look, then top it with a shining lip gloss. Now you have your peachy glossy summer look! Get it on and let’s go to the beach!
